This book was made for the Scottish Crannog Centre and seeks to educate the young or inquisitive about the work of archaeologists who work to discover what life was like in Iron Age Scotland by diving beneath the 18 natural islands or 'crannogs' on Loch Tay.
The outer shell and the puzzle pages of the book are laser-etched and covered by illustrated and naturally dyed fabrics. The puzzle on top anthropomorphises the crannog as a protective, hairy-headed, creature; waiting for the archaeologists to discover the secrets beneath it's mass.
